Garage Door Service in New Jersey
One team for the whole door — new garage doors and openers installed, and the springs, cables, rollers, tracks and panels on the door you already have repaired.
Showroom at 390 Hackensack Ave #310, Hackensack, NJ 07601 · Mon–Sat 11am – 6pm · Sunday closed
What we do
We sell garage doors, so we know the hardware behind them. The same technicians hang new doors and fix old ones — springs and cables on a Tuesday, a full replacement on a Wednesday.
New door installation & replacement
An insulated steel, aluminium or glass garage door measured to your opening and fitted with new track, hardware and springs sized to the door.
Read more →Garage door openers
Opener installation on a new or existing door, plus remotes, keypads and the photo-eye safety sensors that stop a door reversing for no reason.
Read more →Emergency repairs
A spring that let go, a snapped cable, a door off its track, a door that will not close, or a car shut in behind one that will not lift — what to do before anyone arrives, and what happens when you call.
Read more →Springs, cables, rollers & hinges
The parts that actually carry the weight of the door. A broken torsion spring or a snapped cable is the most common repair there is — and the one to leave alone.
Read more →Tracks & panels
Bent track, a door that has jumped its rollers, a dented section on an otherwise sound door. Section replacement depends on the brand, model and colour still being available.
Read more →Tune-ups & safety inspections
Balance, spring tension, roller and hinge condition, opener force and the auto-reverse test — the whole system checked, not only the part that failed.
Read more →Weather seals
Bottom seals, perimeter stop moulding and threshold work, so the garage stops taking in water, leaves and cold air along the floor.
Read more →Three pages go deeper: garage door installation covers new and replacement doors and openers, garage door repair covers springs, cables, tracks, panels and tune-ups, and emergency garage door repair covers the door that has just broken and is unsafe to use.

How it works
-
Call us, or send photos
Tell us what the door is doing, or email a photo of the door and of the springs above it. Most of the time we can name the part before anyone leaves Hackensack.
-
You get the price in writing
Repairs are quoted once we have seen the door; new doors are quoted from your measurements or from a field measurement. Nothing starts until you have the number in writing and approve it.
-
We schedule the visit
We book a day that works for you and confirm what we are bringing — the door, the opener, the springs, the parts. If we find something the quote did not cover, you hear it before we touch it.
-
Installed or repaired, and tidied up
We finish the work, run the door through its full travel, test the auto-reverse, and clear our packaging out of your garage. Ask about removal of the old door when you request your quote.
Field measurement is charged and credited toward your order. Installation is available and quoted separately from the door, so you always see what the door costs and what the work costs.
Where we work
Our service area runs from Toms River north through New Jersey, into New York City and Long Island, and across into parts of Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Tell us where the door is and we will confirm scheduling for your town.

Garage door service questions
How long does a garage door replacement take?
Most standard replacements are a single visit: the old door and track come out, the new door, track, springs and hardware go in, and the door is balanced and tested before we leave. How long that visit runs depends on the size of the door, the condition of the opening, and whether an opener is going in at the same time — we confirm the timing with your quote rather than promising a number for a garage we have not seen.
Can you repair one panel, or do I need a whole new door?
Often one section is all you need. If the rest of the door is sound and the manufacturer still makes that model, section and colour, replacing the damaged panel is the cheaper answer and we will say so. Panels are quoted only after we identify the door, because availability depends entirely on brand, model, colour and the age of the door. Where the section is discontinued, or where several panels are rusted or water-damaged, we will tell you that a new door is the better spend.
Do you service garage doors you did not install?
Yes. Tell us the brand and model from the label inside the door, or send a photo of it, and we will confirm we can get the right springs, rollers or section before anything is scheduled. Doors bought elsewhere are normal work for us — we simply want to know what we are coming to, so the truck arrives with the right parts.
Do you work on garage door openers?
Yes — installing a new opener, replacing remotes and keypads, realigning or replacing the photo-eye safety sensors, and diagnosing a unit that hums, clicks or does nothing. One honest limit: connecting an opener to an existing ceiling receptacle is one thing, but new wiring, a new circuit or a new receptacle is electrical work for a licensed electrician in New Jersey. If your garage needs that, we tell you before the visit rather than on the day.
What does garage door service cost?
We do not publish repair or installation prices, because the honest number depends on the door in front of us — its size and weight, one spring or two, and what is found once the cover comes off. You get the price before any work starts, and that quote is the number. What we will not do is put a figure on this page that a technician then has to argue with in your driveway.
Is financing available on a new garage door?
Yes, for qualified customers, through Synchrony — the same plans that cover entry doors and windows, from no interest if paid in full within six months to longer fixed reduced-APR terms. Financing is subject to credit approval, and the plan available to you is confirmed with your quote.
How do I measure my garage opening?
Measure the width and the height of the finished opening at its widest and tallest points, then the headroom above the opening, the backroom behind it, and the sideroom on each side. Those five numbers tell us which door, track and spring system fit. Send them with a photo and we can quote from them; if you would rather we did it, field measurement is charged and credited toward your order.
Which towns do you cover?
New Jersey from Toms River north, New York City and Long Island, parts of Pennsylvania, and into Connecticut. Tell us where the door is and we will confirm scheduling for your town when you call.
Can I see the doors before I decide?
Yes — full-size doors, finishes and hardware are in the showroom at 390 Hackensack Ave #310, Hackensack, NJ 07601, open Mon–Sat 11am – 6pm · Sunday closed. Seeing a woodgrain or a flush black panel in daylight settles most colour decisions in about five minutes.
Do you handle emergency repairs?
Yes — a broken spring, a snapped cable, a door off its track, a door that will not close, or a car shut in behind one that will not lift. Call and describe what the door did, and send a photo of the door and of the springs above it if you can; we confirm the part before the visit is scheduled and book the earliest slot we have. We will not promise you an hour, because our hours are the showroom's — Mon–Sat 11am – 6pm · Sunday closed — and a promise we cannot keep on the day is worse than a straight answer now.
My door will not open and the spring looks broken. What should I do?
Stop using the door and leave the opener alone. A torsion spring is wound under hundreds of pounds of tension, and the bottom brackets the cables attach to carry the same load — this is the one garage repair that regularly injures do-it-yourselfers. Do not unbolt anything, do not force the door up, and if the door is already part-open, keep people and cars out from under it. Then call us.
