What do I actually save?
Pair a steel entry door with a qualifying garage door and 20% comes off the garage; order two or more
qualifying garage doors and the second one is 20% off — 20% off one garage door per order. Qualifying
garages are the Safe-Way and Modern Decor lines — Amarr is not included, and neither is the Safe-Way Deluxe. Or, on the garage doors we make ourselves, a free opener on every door — instead of the 20%: one deal per order, and your cart applies the bigger saving.
What does the whole job come to?
Every door on this page shows its price range. Configure one and its page shows the exact door price and,
under it, what installing that door typically costs, from a new opening to replacing an old door with
removal, haul-away and trim. Tax not included. Options you add, like an opener, are priced as you choose
them. Your quote itemises the job for your address, and nothing is added on install day without your OK.
Can I get 20% off and the free opener?
No — one deal per order: 20% off or a free opener, not both. Your cart works out each and applies the
bigger saving, and you can switch to the other with one click. Deals can't be combined with financing
either. The Safe-Way Deluxe is not included in the 20% deals, and Amarr garage doors are not part of
any deal on this page.
Which garage doors come with the free opener?
Only the garage doors we make ourselves — our 16 in-house Modern Decor lines: Concord, Quadra, Aperture, Panorama, Axis, Duet, Wood Band, Half View, Onyx, Meridian, Linea, Mirage, Slate, Cadence, Staggered, and Gradia.
Safe-Way and Amarr garage doors do not qualify, and neither do the Safe-Way and Amarr doors fitted
with our vertical-window glass.
Which opener do I get?
The free opener is the one your door needs — the Kwikset 800 belt drive, the Kwikset 1000B or the LiftMaster 98022 — and the configurator picks it by your door's weight. The Kwikset 800 (800N, 3/4 HP DC smart opener, belt drive) for a door up to 210 lb. The Kwikset 1000B (1000N, 1 HP DC smart opener with battery backup, belt drive) for a door up to 440 lb. The LiftMaster 98022 (DC wall-mount opener with battery backup and Wi-Fi) for a door up to 850 lb. Your free opener is chosen by your door's estimated weight. We weigh every door once it's built and supply the opener its actual weight calls for — it may be a different model from the one shown here. The belt
drives come on the rail that fits your door's height — on a 9-ft door, the 10-ft rail; the 98022 mounts on
the wall. Taller than 9 ft? Ask us: no door we make is taller. It is one opener per door: the motor
and what comes in its box — keypads, remotes and other extras keep their own price. Your cart adds it to the door at $0.
Prefer a different opener your door can take? We credit the free one's value toward it — you pay any difference. Its installation is charged as usual ($225 a door in New Jersey, in
your installation estimate).
What if I need three or more garage doors?
The automatic 20% goes on one garage door per order — with two doors, the second, lower-priced one;
every other door is at catalog price. For a third door or more, call us: we price larger projects as a
whole rather than by a tier.
How does financing affect the deals?
Deals can't be combined with financing. Financing is available on our standard catalog pricing for
qualified buyers — you choose a deal, or financing at our standard catalog price. See financing for the plans.
When can you schedule?
It depends on the door: in-stock models are scheduled once your order is confirmed, and the install
itself is usually a day. European doors and custom garages are built to order, so ask when you call
and we will tell you which dates are genuinely open.
Do you do the installation yourselves?
Yes — our own crew installs our doors, and it is what our Google reviews single out. Their work is in
the estimated total under every door above, and your quote itemises it for your job.
