Amarr Heritage 2000 (Insulated R-6.64) Steel Garage Door

Heritage is Amarr’s premium heavy-gauge steel collection — a full 2″ thick door built with heavier 24-gauge exterior steel than the value lines, backed by a limited lifetime warranty. It’s the step-up choice when you want a door that shrugs off basketballs, snow shovels, and twenty New Jersey winters, and it unlocks Amarr’s carriage house designs for a swing-door look with modern overhead operation. Construction

• HR1000 — Single-Layer Steel. Heavy-duty exterior steel, durable and low-maintenance, with a lifetime paint warranty.
• HR2000 — Double-Layer (Steel + Insulation). Heavy-duty exterior steel backed by polystyrene insulation with vinyl backing. Energy efficient, quieter, 5-year workmanship warranty.
• HR3000 — Triple-Layer (Steel + Insulation + Steel). The flagship: steel exterior, polystyrene core, steel interior skin. Superior efficiency, extra-quiet operation, maximum dent resistance, and a lifetime warranty on workmanship and hardware — not just paint.

Insulation in every model has passed self-ignition, flame-spread, and smoke-developed index fire testing. If your garage shares a wall with living space, the HR3000 is the one we recommend.

Specifications

R-values are calculated per DASMA TDS-163; Amarr participates in the DASMA Thermal Performance Verification Program. Lower U-factor means better thermal performance.

Panel Designs

Traditional:

• Short Panel (SP) and Long Panel (LP) — all three models.
• Flush Panel (FP) and Ribbed Panel (RP) — HR3000 only.

Carriage House (all three models, three designs each):

• Bead Board (BB) — vertical beadboard texture, short-panel proportions.
• Long Bead Board (LPBB) — beadboard texture, long-panel proportions.
• Recessed (RE) — clean recessed-square carriage styling.

Woodgrain finishes are dual-directional across all designs. Carriage house doors can be finished with decorative handles and strap hinges (see Decorative Hardware).

Colors

Ten factory finishes; a price upcharge applies to every color except True White.

• Standard: True White, Almond, Wicker Tan, Sandtone, Terratone, Dark Brown, Charcoal Gray, Black.
• Woodgrain: Walnut, Mahogany.

Through the Amarr Color Zone program the Heritage can be ordered in over 800 approved Sherwin-Williams SnapDry colors. Doors are pre-painted; non-factory painting voids the paint finish warranty.

Glass Options

Window glass is 3/32″ single-strength: Clear (C), Obscure (O) (upcharge), Frost (WF) (upcharge), Dark Tint (WD) (upcharge). On the HR3000, insulated glass is available in Clear, Frost, and Dark Tint.

DecraTrim Window Inserts

Short-panel (traditional): No Insert, Stockton, Prairie, Cathedral, Cascade, Waterford, Wagon Wheel, Sunray, Full Sunray (16′, 17′, 18′ only), Five Piece Sunray (10′ doors, True White only).

Long-panel (traditional and carriage house): No Insert, Stockton, Prairie, Cathedral, Cascade, Moonlite, Waterford, Wagon Wheel, Sunray, Thames, Arched Thames, Full Sunray (15’6″, 15’8″, 16′, 17′, 18′ only).

DecraGlass Windows

Tempered obscure glass with a baked-on ceramic design. Short panel (traditional) and long panel (traditional and carriage house): Victorian, Heartland, Jardin, Mission, Trellis.

SlimLine Windows

A modern half-height window with a black or white frame only, in Clear, Frost, or Dark Tint glass (single-pane or insulated), on the HR3000 in flush and ribbed panel designs only.

Mosaic Window Options

On traditional designs, choose the number and placement of windows for a custom layout.

Decorative Hardware

Finish a carriage house door with decorative handles and hinges in Aluminum, Stamped Steel, and Magnetic ABS Vinyl collections — small touches that complete the authentic swing-door look.
